Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
Sales Innovator is operated by [TBC: legal entity name] (ABN 83 882 164 108) ("Sales Innovator", "we", "us"), based in Sydney, Australia. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you use our website at salesinnovator.ai, our software (Sales Innovator Intelligence, Sales Innovator Accelerate and Sales Innovator Quotient), our training programmes and events, and the AI agent on our website.
We are bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. If you are in the European Union, the United Kingdom or another region with its own privacy law, the additional rights in section 10 apply to you.
Contact: info@salesinnovator.ai, or [TBC: postal address].
2. The short version
- We collect what we need to run the website, deliver the products and services you buy, and reply when you contact us.
- Content you put into Sales Innovator Intelligence is processed by AI providers who do not train their models on it.
- The competitor and deal information you add to a document is never stored. It is used to generate that one document and then discarded.
- Documents you generate are kept for 365 days and then deleted automatically.
- You can delete your data yourself, at any time, from your account.
- We do not sell personal information and we run no advertising or analytics trackers in the software.
3. What we collect, and why
3.1 When you visit the website
- Usage data: pages visited, referring site, device and browser type, approximate location from your IP address, and interaction events such as starting a trial. Collected through Google Analytics 4 and Vercel Analytics on the website. Used to understand how the site is used and to improve it. Note that the Sales Innovator Intelligence application itself contains no analytics, tracking or session-recording software of any kind.
- Form submissions: name, work email, company, role, region and whatever you write in a message, depending on the form. Stored in our customer relationship system and used to respond to you and deliver what you asked for.
- Laura, our AI agent: if you open the chat or voice agent on our website, the conversation, including audio if you use voice, is processed by our provider ControlShift AI to answer you and, where you ask, to book a call. Laura tells you she is an AI at the start of every conversation. [TBC: confirm with ControlShift AI: retention period for transcripts and audio, whether audio is stored, and where it is hosted.]
3.2 When you create an account or buy something
- Account and membership data: your name, email and plan, held in Wix, which is the source of truth for who you are and what you have access to. Your name and email are also copied into the records described in section 3.3 at the time they are created.
- Billing data: handled by our payment provider [TBC: Stripe / Wix Payments]. We receive your name, email, billing address, plan and transaction history. We never receive or store full card numbers.
- Training, events and book purchases: name, email, company, any dietary or accessibility requirements you tell us, and attendance or order details.
3.3 When you use Sales Innovator Intelligence
This is the part of our processing that matters most, so it is set out precisely.
- Stored with each document you generate: the prospect name, your company name, your objective, the relationship stage, your seller notes, any partner context, your name and email, your plan, and the generated document itself.
- Used to generate the document and then discarded, never written to any store: the competitor names, competitive positioning notes, case studies and additional notes you add, and any one-off company profile you paste in for a single document. The prospect and vendor website addresses are likewise not kept with the record.
- Held as standing assets until you delete them: the company value-proposition document you upload, stored as extracted text rather than the original file, and the styling configuration extracted from any corporate Word template you upload. The original files are never stored.
- Feedback you give on a document (your rating, your notes, any report of an inaccurate claim, your open comments and any testimonial you choose to give) is stored against that document.
- Usage metadata: generations run, quota consumed and any additional credits granted.
3.4 Information about other people
The documents you generate concern companies, and may name people at those companies who have spoken publicly. You are responsible for having the right to provide any personal information you enter. We process it only to generate your document. We do not use it to contact those people or to build profiles of them.
4. AI processing: what happens to your inputs
Sales Innovator Intelligence generates documents by sending your inputs to two third-party AI services.
Research is performed through Perplexity's Sonar chat completions API, using the sonar-pro model. Only the prospect name and website address and your company name and website address are sent. Perplexity does not retain data sent through this API and does not use it to train its models; it keeps only billing metadata such as token counts and timestamps.
Generation is performed through Anthropic's Claude API, using the claude-opus-5 model, under an Anthropic Console organisation account governed by Anthropic's Commercial Terms of Service. Those terms state that Anthropic may not train models on customer content, that you retain rights to your inputs and own your outputs, and that API inputs and outputs are automatically deleted within 30 days. The full content of your request is sent to Anthropic, including the research findings, your notes and the competitor information described above.
Both providers process data in the United States. By using the software you consent to that transfer; the contractual protections above apply to it (section 9).
5. How long we keep information
| Information | Retention | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Generated documents and the inputs stored with them | 365 days from creation, then deleted automatically | An enforced expiry, not a policy statement |
| Competitor and deal-intelligence inputs, case studies, additional notes | Not stored at all | Used for one request, then discarded |
| Company value-proposition profile | Until you delete it | Deletable from your account at any time |
| Corporate template styling configuration | Until you delete it | The original file is never stored |
| Feedback, ratings and testimonials | Until you delete your data | Removed by the account deletion in section 6 |
| Usage and quota counts | 62 days | |
| Billing records and credit grants | 7 years | Retained as Australian tax law requires, and not removed by a deletion request |
| Website analytics | Google Analytics [TBC: 14 months]; Vercel Analytics per Vercel's policy | |
| Form submissions and CRM records | While we have a relationship with you and for [TBC: 3 years] after our last contact | |
| Server logs | Up to 14 days | Request metadata; see section 7 |
Ending a subscription does not by itself delete anything. Access stops, and the retention periods above continue to run. If you want your data removed sooner, use the deletion described in section 6.
6. Deleting your data
You can delete your own data at any time. In Sales Innovator Intelligence, the account area has a "Delete my data" option that removes your generated documents, your company profile, your template configuration, your feedback and your team membership. You can also delete any single document from your history.
Deleting your data does not cancel your subscription, close your Wix account or sign you out, and it does not remove billing records, which we are required to keep. Those are separate actions.
Every deletion is written to an internal audit log recording the account, what was removed, how many records, when, and whether it was initiated by you or by us on request. That log is how we can demonstrate a request was honoured.
If you would rather we did it for you, or you no longer have access to your account, email info@salesinnovator.ai and we will action it and confirm what was removed.
7. Who sees your information
| Provider | What it sees | Location |
|---|---|---|
| Vercel | Hosts the software and stores all application data; sees request metadata as the hosting layer | USA / global edge |
| Anthropic | The full content of each generation request, including research findings, notes and competitor information | USA |
| Perplexity | Prospect and vendor names and website addresses only | USA |
| Wix | Your identity as a member. No document content is ever sent to Wix | USA / Israel |
| [TBC: Stripe] | Payment and billing information | [TBC: USA] |
| Google Analytics, Vercel Analytics | Website usage only, not software content | USA / global |
| ControlShift AI | Conversations with Laura on our website | [TBC: Australia, to confirm] |
Server logs record request paths, status codes, hosts and timing, not request content. In one error path, up to 500 characters of an error message returned by Perplexity may appear in a log entry. Logs are retained for up to 14 days.
Internal access. Sales Innovator staff holding administrative credentials can see, across all customers: the prospect and company names and objectives for every generation, and every feedback record including private comments, reports of inaccurate claims and testimonials. They cannot see the generated documents themselves through that interface. Access is limited to people who need it to operate and support the product.
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We may share it with professional advisers, and with a buyer or successor if the business is sold, on the same terms as this policy.
8. How we protect information
Data in transit is encrypted with TLS. Application data is held by Vercel under its own security commitments. Access within Sales Innovator is limited to people who need it. Uploaded files are parsed in memory and never stored in their original form.
No system is perfectly secure. If a data breach is likely to result in serious harm, we will notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme requires.
9. Overseas disclosure
Our providers process information in the United States and other countries listed in section 7. We take reasonable steps to ensure they handle it consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles, including through the contractual commitments described in section 4. Where we cannot ensure that, we rely on your consent, which you give by using the relevant service after reading this policy.
10. Your rights
Everyone. You can ask to access the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or delete it yourself as described in section 6. You can withdraw consent to marketing at any time. Write to info@salesinnovator.ai; we respond within 30 days.
EU, UK and equivalent regions. In addition, you have the rights to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, to withdraw consent at any time, and to complain to your local supervisory authority. Our lawful bases are: performance of a contract (delivering the products and services), legitimate interests (running and improving the website, security, business communication), consent (marketing, analytics cookies where required) and legal obligation (tax and accounting records).
11. Cookies, marketing, children and changes
Cookies. We use cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember choices, and for website analytics. Analytics cookies are used [TBC: only with your consent where the law requires it]. You can block cookies in your browser; signed-in features may not work without them.
Marketing. We send marketing email only where you have agreed to receive it or, for existing customers, about similar products and services, in line with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth). Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. Receipts, account notices and confirmations are not marketing.
Automated decisions. Sales Innovator Quotient scores survey responses automatically against a fixed rubric to place a person or team on a readiness scale. The scores inform coaching and development decisions made by people. We do not use automated decisions to deny anyone access to a product or service. If a Quotient result about you has been used in a decision that affects you, you may ask us to explain how the score was calculated.
Children. Our products are for business use by adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Complaints. Contact info@salesinnovator.ai and we will investigate and reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes. We may update this policy. We will post the new version here with a new date and, where a change materially affects how we use your information, tell account holders by email.
